InPressione is a company that deals with customised waffles. Its aim is to maintain a link with the current company and to convey the idea of a family business.

Naming

The combination of the terms In and Pressione exploits an unconventional construct: the use of an N followed by a P. Anyone reading the name is immediately attracted by the “error” and this facilitates its recall. The Italian language emphasises the familiar aspect of the brand.
Through the PRESS, the logo is applied to the products. Thanks to this name, the heart of the business is highlighted.

COLOR PALETTE

The first two shades chosen were #89C6D1 and #F5A91C. These two colours echo the company’s current logo, creating the common thread that was required. After that, colours were selected that match the food world.

Handwriting font

To convey the idea of a family business, it was decided to use a handwritten font. This conveys closeness to the end customer.

The ‘pick’ shape found in both the full and extended logos is not a simple circle, but has been modified to give the logo dynamism.

Finally, in the extended logo it was decided to highlight the word PRESS as if it were imprinted in the background.

Handwriting font

For the name I chose to use Black Street, a handwriting font with soft lines and suitable for the food world. The letter P is capitalised to distinguish the word “impression” from the name “In Pressione”.
For the claim “taste your logo” a Futura Extra Black was chosen to give the right emphasis to the phrase.
