The Box - Brand Identity Design

Company canteen by Palladio Group

As lead designer for The Box, the company canteen of Palladio Group in Dueville, I developed a complete brand identity system designed to communicate quality, sustainability, and a sense of everyday welcome.

From the logo and visual language to color palette, typography, materials, and environmental applications, every element was created to reflect a contemporary dining space where thoughtful sourcing, responsible practices, and a warm, approachable atmosphere come together to elevate the daily meal experience.

TYPOGRAPHY AS IDENTITY

Typography plays a central role in the identity. The chosen typeface is Spalla, an elegant yet clear and highly legible, subtly referencing Parisian bistro aesthetics to evoke a sense of quality, even within a corporate dining context. Its light serifs convey a premium, modern feel while maintaining warmth and approachability.

This typographic focus is fully expressed in the secondary vertical lockup, where the identity is reduced to its essential element. Here the details and character of the Spalla font can be fully appreciated.

COLOR PALETTE

The color palette brings warmth and a refined natural tone to The Box, supporting its identity as a welcoming, sustainable space for quality daily breaks. Earthy Green, Deep Green and Soft Sand introduce depth and visual rhythm across buffet areas and spatial niches, adding character to an otherwise minimal environment while encouraging moments of pause and social connection.

PATTERN

The same rounded foodie illustration set is also present as a custom pattern. These circular elements reinforce notions of quality and wholesome nutrition, while its subtle vintage aesthetic aligns with the brand typography to create a cohesive visual system.

Used as a decorative feature within spatial niches and on placemats, the pattern adds depth, warmth, and continuity across the dining environment.
