PAPER PULP

Sbuccia&Mangia project

The wood is the main component. It’s resistant from -18°C to +150°C, really high temperatures.
It can be disposed together with food waste for compost production

SLATE

Roia project

Ardesia texture

Slate can easily be divided into parallel planes with a simple blade, a technique commonly known as ‘splitting’.
Another characteristic is the ability to heat (if previously heated), being almost non-deformable. It has good impact resistance.

DURMAST

Incontro project

Durmast has excellent workability. We chose this material for the Incontro project because, in contrast to the white bioplastic, its inherent warmth stands out. In fact, it has been applied to the connecting lines between people.

OLIVE WOOD

Roia project

It is a centuries-old tree, which grows in the flat and hilly areas of southern Italy.
Until it is ten years old, the trunk of the olive tree is smooth, cylindrical and grey-green in colour; it then becomes gnarled, twisted, dark in colour, deformed by frequent ribbing and deep furrows, which lead it inexorably to the hollow.

CERAMIC

Roia project

Ceramics is an inorganic material, which is very ductile in its natural state and rigid after firing.
Ceramic is particularly suitable for creating tableware, as it is easily washable even at high temperatures.
